For over 15 years, A Piano Grows In Brooklyn has helped students of all ages discover the joy of music. Our seven professional teachers teach beginners through advanced students in classical, jazz, pop, improvisation, music theory, songwriting, and ear training. Students can learn in our Downtown Brooklyn studio at 190 Duffield Street, at home in Brooklyn, or online. Whether you’re an adult returning to the piano or a parent looking for an inspiring teacher for your child, we’re here to help you dive deeper into the learning and into the music.

We regularly teach students in Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Park Slope, South Slope, Bed Stuy, Prospect Heights, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and nearby neighborhoods.
